It is refreshing to be part of a school where educational practice (the “how”) is guided by a consistent educational philosophy (the “why”) which responds to natural curiosity.
"Children want to learn and to know."
It has been deeply rewarding to see teachers and parents working together to nurture and guide children in order to bring about growth in character and in knowledge.
This is true education, and I am blessed and grateful to be part of it!

We are thrilled that our boys love school and are happy being there. We enjoy the school’s commitment to a thoroughly Biblical Christian education, where the Biblical worldview shapes not just the assembly each morning but the entire philosophy, approach and content of the education process. We love the emphasis on developing character, a love for learning and the natural talents God has given each child. And we love the love and concern the staff have for the children – they really do care for each and every child.

As a teacher and a parent I was struck by Charlotte Mason’s statement ‘Children are born persons’. This idea grows an atmosphere of acceptance, each child feels valued, regardless of their apparent weaknesses. A child is a whole person, created in God's image, not merely an empty vessel to be filled. It is such a joy being at a school where I am part of shaping children's characters, curiosity and love for learning as well as deepening their relationships with God, others, and the world around them.

The Vine School has made a good impact on my life. It has taught me how to love, how to think about others before yourself and has also taught me about the world. The teachers are like our second parents, they care so much about everyone. The staff and admin are so kind and are always willing to give a helping hand whether to the teachers, students or parents. The Vine School's teaching philosophy does not only focus on academics but also focuses on behaviour, respect towards others and good life habits. It also has taught me as a Christian not to exclude nor to judge other people, but that in God's eyes we are all seen as equal.
