It is widely accepted by health experts that a major pandemic like COVID-19 can have serious psychological effects on people and how they handle situations emotionally. As part of our efforts to provide support for our pupils, the staff facilitate activities to aid our pupils’ emotional and psychological wellbeing. During one such activity, our Grade 2 students made "Mr Grassheads" by putting seeds into a stocking, then adding soil and tying it off. The ball was then put in a cup - eyes and nose were added and the soil was watered. Over time the seeds grew and Mr Grasshead developed.
