The Vine School is an Ambleside School which uses the Charlotte Mason Philosophy of Education.
Exams are aimed to find out what the children know by asking them open-ended questions.
And in the younger grades they tell-back their answers so they are not bogged down in spelling and grammar rules.
It is a great time for all and we often hear how the children are excited to find out what the next day's exam will be since they enjoy telling back what they know.
