Pupils enjoyed our Chess Day on Saturday 22 July. Mr. Sherwin Johnson arranged for Provincial Chess Arbiter, Mr. Andrew Talmarkes, to oversee the event. Mr Talmarkes is the founder of Insight Chess Academy and also serves as Chairperson of the Metropole Central District Chess association. Pupils from different grades played against each other and 12 pupils were selected to participate in a chess tournament at Sunlands Primary School on Tuesday 25 July.
