Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. At The Vine School we understand that the ideas, habits and values established in primary school will influence the rest of a child’s life. A sound educational and spiritual foundation is the best investment for your child’s future with long-lasting, even eternal, consequences.

The Vine School is an independent Christian school. Our teachers encourage, by word and example, the pupils to love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ in the ordinary details of life. School is where young minds are shaped, and we believe that Christian schools are invaluable in helping to raise a generation who have been “transformed, by the renewing of their minds ... able to test and approve God’s will.” (Romans 12:1-2)

Since April 2012 the school has been affiliated with Ambleside Schools International. We have adopted the rich, inspiring Ambleside curriculum based on the philosophy of Charlotte Mason. This educational method emphasizes an peaceful, nurturing atmosphere, training in good habits and exposure to "living ideas" found in great books, artworks, music and nature. Less time is given to homework assignments and assessments, leaving more time for reading, listening, observing and responding. The method allows for more content to be explored and children learn far beyond the minimum standards of the Department of Education.
